Service in Public Bank --- SUPERB!

Is not the first time I been into a bank, but this time, is my first time witness the power of the accounting graduates in bank....

I will go to Public Bank today is because I have to pay my college first semester's fees and plan to open an account in that bank too because you know, TARC love Public Bank =.= Having an account in Public Bank will be easier for me in the future for payment of fees etc..

Reached there around 9 am, so mom and I decided to have breakfast in a noodle shop beside the bank. Pontian something, the food there is not bad~ Had a 叉烧云吞, as usual -.- Aroud 9.30am, went to the bank and queue up to take my number. Dang! That queue is so so so so long! But thank God their service is good, very fast I got my number.

There are around 24 counters in total in that area. You can see people are queuing to do their transactions. Opening account took sometime, so that counter is quite slow. Luckily, for the payment counter is really really fast, because they have a lot of counters dealing with it. By the time my number was called, mom went to make the payment and ngam ngam, my number for opening account also called (have 2 numbers in hand), so I walked to the counter alone... scared scared leh... First time dealing with bankers face to face...

He gave me a form, asked me to sign at the bottom in every page, bottom side.
Note: Darn it! Practice for so many times, yet my signature is still like crap.... Each and every signature is similar, but still, is quite different...
Then darn it again! He said I am below 18, so I can't apply for ATM and Debit Card !! That is one of the purpose I went to bank! Having an ATM card or Debit Card will make my life whole lot easier... After that, he gave me the form and asked me to go to another counter for processing...

Here is the interesting part. The counter I went just beside another counter which has long long queue, like seriously long... From the front desk to the main entrance of bank... While waiting for my turn, I saw that front desk banker is like extracting the copy of cheque from the original one, and he had to do like 20 of it per customer... I heard from the officer at the bank saying that it is for EPF/PERKESO/SOKSO... His speed is marvelous... After extracting  the copy out, have to key in the cheque number into the computer some more, but he did it in speed of light (?)! Mom said, usually Chinese banker do their job really fast, very efficient... Well, I have to say that, I can't deny that fact because is true... When is my turn, that banker is a middle aged Malay man, with glasses on... Then there is this Chinese lady, I think is a senior officer at the back, helping both the EPF banker and this Malay man. Not once, but many times, I heard that lady said: Ini untuk buka akaun, cepat sikit... then after that I heard she said : cepat sikit again.. From what I saw, she is right... That Malay man is so slow compare with other banker... Asked mom, she said maybe that man is downgraded, if not why so old already still have to work like this? By that age, he shall be a senior officer already... Then bla bla bla, sign this sign that, wait for my name to be called, I got my passbook

Note: The special thing is they clip a paper on a passbook and asked me to sign on it. When I get the passbook back, I found that the signature is not there!! I asked mom she said is normal. The computer scanned that label (part I signed), then they will have a copy of my signature. When I have to deposit or withdraw money, they will refer my signature in the slip with the one in computer... AMAZING~

I seriously salute them... Those amazing bankers... Their speed, agility, reflex is so fast... They deal with so many customers everyday, yet they can accomplish each and every customers' need in time.... But I know their life must be very stressful too.. Most of their face also like emotionless, just like Kristen Stewart xDD
